We had beautiful, sunny Holiday weather and now Winter temps are in the forecast.
All of our Farmhouse Pools are equipped with freeze protection. There are temp sensors that will trigger the system to turn on and circulate your pool water when its cold outside. Sensors and systems can fail over time, so make sure your system is turning on when cold. If freeze protect is not automatically working, turn on all pumps and and water features to run consistently (disable normal run schedules) until temperatures warm up again.
If you have a spa, the system will cycle between running in pool mode and spa mode. If you have water features, they should also be running to keep all pipes with moving water.
In a normal Texas winter, this freeze protect is all you need. If you are at risk of loosing power or we get extreme winter weather, then take extra steps and winterize the equipment pad.
